Firs thing. Its rather simple but i havent been able to find it.
I cant seem to locate the area to add a certain forum to the portal page. Ive looked all through Portal management/structure and i couldnt find it.
Ok another thing. Im not good at at doing the whole skin edit thing so i was hoping i didnt need to do this. Im trying to add my own buttons to the top (the row of buttons portal/index/login/logout all that) is there a way to do this. Ive made my own buttons and i have certain links that they need to go to. is this possible w/o skin edit?

Finally im wondering if there is someone out there with great PHP skill to help me or teach me on how to make a page where people can fill out a bunch of things and send it to a email (hides the email if possible)

The forum's search engine bases its research on keywords found in topic titles.

When you do a research, do you use "help", "urgent", "problem", "SOS" or "question" as keywords to look for topics about your problem/question?

Certainly not! So this is why it is important to use titles related to your problem/question.

Doing this makes the researches much easier for visitors who use the search engine to get an answer to their question.

Solved the portal problem

Ok i found another problem Im working on the HTML page thing and while it does show the html i put in it doesnt show the Skin i added why

Because hitskin is a proprietary application for forumotion and doesn't necessarily put code on your CSS page. Anything you put there will over rise the skin.

And BTW, you cannot use php pages with free forums - you need root access for server side applications.

on my other site it didnt give me a blank white background. It gave me the actual background and even the picture used by me

When creating a html-page, it gives you the option to use the pages footer/header or not. If you have set this to "NO", you'll have a blank html page, without any reference to the CSS of your forum as well. Hence the white background.

Ah ok i see it tyvm. I think the Background i made looks better (alot better) Still need help with adding my own buttons (with links) to the top

You misunderstand me I know how to do that.
i wish to add my own buttons which would redirect people accordingly at the top so the buttons are always visible and not just on the portal

I seem to be having another problem My picture at the top of the forums seems to only be centered for me and it shows being on the left for everyone else how do i fix this?

And another My members cannot see theirs or anyone elses Signature why?
