I agree I really like this place. It has a lot of power built into it. I have enjoyed using it, and hope to use it for a long time to come. I think saying there is no limit to what you can do is a little far stretched. There are a few things I really, really want to be able to do and can't. However, it seems like the people here work to bring on new features all the time, so I'm happy with that. Hopefully they will get to some of my gallery needs soon.

Topic to express your heartfelt thanks - Page 3 Empty Forumotion...a great host

Post by efbe February 28th 2008, 9:59 am

In my very unprofessional opinion LOL i would have to say that forumotion would have to be one of, if not the best free forum hosting providers i have seen and been involved with, and i have been with a few that don't com-pair. There is virtually no downtime and very few server issues that i can complain about. I have only been here a short while and can only thank those that have helped me with the odd question and i hope i have done the same in helping others, if and when i can. What i don't understand is some members coming here and ranting and raving about their dislikes of this particular forum. As from what i have seen almost everyone will go out of their way to help when possible.
I don't want to sound like a brown nose but i want to thank Forumotion for providing a great service.
    Thank you...

I've expressed my thanks before -- my appreciation -- but if you guys don't mind I'll express it again. As someone else said here, this has to be one of the best free forum service in the world.

There are many but the degree of control we have over our forums is rather exceptional and the team keeps coming up with new ideas. This service is amazing.

And I understand also you are relatively few to take care of thousands of boards and trying to help so many people who have problems with them or with members.
Your job must be tough at times.

And all that in a very, very convivial ("très sympa") atmosphere!

Major kudos to you guys! Smile Smile Smile

I'd like to take this opportunity to personally and publicly thank Caihlem and Typlo for all of their support, advice, and assistance. As a forum administrator, I couldn't possibly ask for any better than the staff of forumotion has provided to me and my members. It eases my mind knowing I have such wonderful people to lean on.

You guys are the best! Words cannot adequately express my appreciation. I know I speak for all the members of my little forum when I say you are owed a debt of gratitude none of us will soon forget.

Topic to express your heartfelt thanks - Page 3 Empty Our Forums...ever evolving and in need of tweaking

    Post by Brad38 July 21st 2008, 7:26 am

    Hi Everyone,

I'm a 2 month "old" forumotion member now and I was just thinking about how having one's own forum requires constant updates and improvements...however simple.

I'm REALLY pleased that the apparent "server" problems that many of us were having, seemed to be fixed now and I am much happier since the problems of late seem to be a thing of the past now. Smile (BIG KNOCK ON WOOD) WinkRazz

I've been through the whole gammit of things since joining; changing styles, templates, elements...trying to get my forum JUST RIGHT for my members. It just seems though that it's a never ending challenge to create and maintain a forum that the members will appreciate. I enjoy the "behind the scenes" and creative part of having my own forum and I certainly couldn't have done it without the very nice members and moderators here on the support forum... Thank you all very much for all the help you've given me. SmileSmileSmileVery Happy

I'm nearly at the point now where I think everything is perfect, but I know there will be more "questions" and problems in the future. It's an on going thing I guess when you have, run and administrate your own forum, but it's pretty rewarding too. I don't have a lot of members on my forum, but they are very good people and I'm lucky they've understood and stuck by me while all the changes and problems have come up.

Just wanted to say these things and again thank the staff, members and crew here very much for all they do and have done for me:)

I've never used a PHP styled forum before, let alone run one

So I'd like to say thank you to the ADMIN & MODS of this site, for creating and making this available to us, and also for creating this help forum for any members when in need.

I'd also like to thank all the members registered within this board, for helping me and many others. Your advice, suggestions and help to not only me, but others, has been invaluable. I've learnt many things in 2 months, so much more then I thought I could know, in such a short time, and that's due to everyone helping everyone!

Sometimes, people forget to say thank you, and make people aware that their efforts are appreciated, so although I'm new, I hope this makes you all feel a little more valued!!

Thank you for everything, Admin, Mods, Support, Graphics, and without missing anyone, let me just say MEMBERS!

That is all. I shall get off my soap box now LOL
