No no, i said that those are a bit SMALL, not big. Most people make at least 80-100 px. But size can always be modified...

Well, the extremities are rounded... What is the bad? And I think that the size of the navigation bar is normal. If you see KingOfSports's forum you will understand that the size is ok. Maybe the style and the colours don't fit with his forum but the size is ok. About the colours... yes, they may could be better. But I believe that this is more a subjective factor than a general fact. I know that your intent is good, so thank you for this comment!
