This message concerns all AOL users! This message has been originally posted on June 2005 on the French support, but it's still relevent.

1- On the French support, I saw many people having access problem when they attempted to go to their admin panel. They were asked to re-authentificate over and over again. They all had a common point : They use the AOL Explorer navigator!

If your Internet Service Provider is AOL, use another browser like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox to go to your admin panel or to use the founder's utilities.

2- AOL addresses aren't accepted anymore on Forumotion for these following reasons :

Last summer, AOL has decided to tie up its policy about spam filtering for received and sent emails. Then, all emails which have an activation key inside are blocked and sent back to the sender. After many complaints from AOL users who uses the Forumotion service and the steps done by admins of Forumotions, AOL still takes a long time to solve this problem.

For these reasons, we recommend you to use an email address of another provider. If you have only an AOL address, here is a list of email address providers :

    http://www.yahoo.com (USA)
    http://www.yahoo.ca (Canada)
    http://cf.yahoo.com (Canada in French)
    http://www.yahoo.fr (France)
http://www.hotmail.com (This one is not very recommended, because they can be easily hacked)
    gmail (Invitation only)

With all these problems with AOL, if you can, change ISP!
