Compare them and you can see that his columns space out more while mine don't. I've been trying to figure out how to fix this problem but I have not come to a conclusion. Can anyone help me out?

I think its because of the widgets I had the same problem it was cause the skin got squashed up whenever I added them.

To increase the width...
Go to Admin CP > General > Configuration...
Scroll down and find out "Forum Width".
Change it there.

Or to increase the space between columns...
Admin CP > Modules > Widget Management > Space between columns.
Increase it there.

I've tried changing forum width many times, nothing makes a difference. You change the % right?

As for space between columns, that's not exactly what I want, but it's getting there. It just moves the column, and doesn't increase the width. So there's like a big empty space between the widget and categories. =/

It was the CSS of the skin I chose that made the width so small. Problem fixed.
