The icons, i have 9 Main catories, and want each one to have diffrent icons

In your administration panel:

General Tab >> Categories and Forums

Clicking on the Categories and Forums link will take you to a list of your forums. Click on the little gear () to modify the forum.

Here you will have three boxes displayed (Forum on top and the last being Auto-pruning on the bottom). I believe the box you want is the untitled box in the middle.

There will be an option for an Image URL right above the HTML Description box. Unless I'm mistaken, that is where you'll want to put your link, assuming you have one.

No excatly, that just give me this ........ its the icons longer to the left im talking about... I want diffrent icions on each main catories

and if i hide the icons in > Pics management >Advanced Mode..

I get this... i want icons to be completly to the left of the text

ACP >> Display >> Pics Management >> Icons for the Forum

I don't think you can do exactly what you want to do, though. You only have an option for a category Icon (reg, new post, and locked) and a forum Icon (reg, new, and locked).

been there done that.. dozent help my problem... that changes all main catgories.

You cannot have a different images for different categories.

What images you have posted look like forums, you can have different images for them. Is that what you want?

The way you have described it you want a pic for each forum as above: > admin > general > forum - categories and forums > click on the little orange cog beside the forum name > scroll down and paste your pic's url into the 'image URL' box and press save

The ones you mentioned are forums & not categories.

General>Categories and forums
Click on any forum

Then Image URL: Add the image url

Thats it.

I dont want forum's inside forum just to have diffrent pictures on each one... i want my main categories to diffrent pictures !! is THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND ????????

The image you posted shows forums, & not categories. THAT IS WHY IT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND.

I had told you the way in my previous post to get the images for the forums as in the picture posted by you.

DOH ! this is just an example of what i want !!!

Lets pretend the above picture is ONE FORUM ONLY and and thos catgories are what i have in my forum. So how do I get a diffrent picture inserted to each main catagori?

AND i tryed do that thing you suggested and that dint work !
