My site has just been spammed up by an "Imageshack Presents" "Anti-sec movement" WTF?

Any advice on what to do would be appreciated as we are quite new to all this:)

As MrMario answered in another topic you can report them to isp, if you have their IP, some screenies and their ISP.

How do i get their isp? They haven't posted just plastered my homepage with crap rantings lol

Forget what I said, they haven't registered as users.
Your best bet here is to change the name of your topic so a staff can come along and deal with this issue. It's beyond my help

Sorry I'm new, I registered just to answer this, but it's not that your site was attacked, its that imageshack was attacked.

Remove these images from your affiliate section

and you should be fine.

Rosesizl - if you have any image shack link button, delete them from your site. Its image shack that has been spammed

Theres a box with all your added button links. Remove the image shack ones.
Thats what i just did.

I actually have no experience with forumotion, but from a quick look at the source of the forum

are two of your issues, you need to look through the forum and remove all the occurrences of imageshack.

Hmmm....would this be connected to the anti-sec thing = all of a sudden i have 108 online, and most users online 108!!! I've only got 54 members lol

Connected? Yes. In a malicious way? No.

This is a relatively new incident, a quick google search of "Anti-Sec imageshack" returns this topic at the top of the list, people are trying to figure out what is going on and are viewing this topic as it has a relation. I'm sure people are clicking on the link you posted, thats why you have a high number of users browsing your site now.

He sorted it out, but the problems about your image hoster will not be answered here on Forumotion.

+figure - I didn't know what the problem was until i asked here. I dont host anything with image shack but a member had use it to host his link buttons. All i was concerned about was my site, not imageshack. I deleted those buttons and now my site is fine. I dont really care what problems imageshack are having tbh

Yes it's a imagshack who has been hacked.

I seems the images are not losted so you could change the image for temporary image on other host and save the imageshack links.

( cause they should work again soon )

It has nothing to do with ISP. You are using ImageShack image hoster, and they are performing naintnance. Be paitiont, it will go back soon.
