    I know that with vBulletin, you can have a "View Unread Posts"-link, on your forum, which takes you to a list, that shows you threads, that has unread posts. Is this kind of link possible to have with phpbb3?

    Yes, it's possible.

    You should have it, it should say:

    "View posts since last visit", it means the same thing.
