Hi all,

I am wondering if it is possible to lock categories to certain members.

I use my forum for 4 different groups,
I have categories set up with forums within them.
I dont want all members to be able to look in others or leave messages.

I would like group 1 to be able to post in group 1's forum but not forum 2
and so on

If this can be done, can it be set to happen automatically on registration where they have to choose which forum they are part of.

You can make some groups and put people in there, and make the section of your forum un-viewable to that group!
