Is there anyway you can replace the default smiles on the fourm. I have tried to delete them but it wont work.

Yes! Delete all smileys EXCEPT one. Then upload one smiley. Then delete the one smiley you didn't delete from before.

If go ahead and delete the one smiley u are not to delete, it will make ALL of the smileys show back up in a flash.

Surely you can just move the existing smilies.
i.e.
Default smilies are usually > Smiles 1.
Move these to Smiles 2.
Upload new smiles to Smiles 1.
As default the new smiles are present.
But members can still access old ones.
Never tried this myself.
But assume that is the principle.

If you do that, when you do something like * it will show the default

I just tested it out.
Didn't get that.
Non of my smiles have the same code though.
So if I have/had more than one
I just # them.
:smile2: etc.
You can even rename them.
:oldsmile: :newsmile: etc.
