Making the "body line background colour" transparent

Is this possible by css? And if so, could somebody help me out with the css I need?

The problem I'm getting is that I'm wanting to have the background shown rather than it being as a "border". The body line background seems to be placed in front of the actual background and makes it so I can't put the image I wanted as the background.
