    Just wondering if anyone knows of any tutorials on how to create a basic image rank (text on a background)

    I've made a few for my own forum but would be interested in making ones which aren't as basic (my current way of doing things is just to create a solid colour on an 88/31 background and stick some text on top of it. If there's a better way of doing things I'd love to hear it.

    I suggest your google GIMP and photoshop.

    Aye, I have both (find Gimp easier to use) but I'm pretty stumped as how to make even basic image ranks.

    Any tutorials on the subject?
