make white be the transparent color on your forum?

hello

i've started to use the multi forums in one and the back ground of the pictures are white, while the forum is based on darker colors.is it possible to make the white transparent without editing the picture?

I don't think it is possible at all, as far as I know both HTML and CSS can't "see" the picture's parts and modify it, they see it as a plain square element with no white (or whatever color) parts.
But it's pretty easy to change the background or even make it transparent with some simple editing. I can do it for you, but I don't want to place the finished pictures on my file hosting sites, so if you give me a way to deliver them safely I'd be glad to help you.

It's possable but I don't know how, my forum has it though so yea it is.

your images/icons are not transparent . they should be .png at the end not jpg

so if their png not jpeg the white is transparent?

No, he just meant that jpg images can't have transparency, not that the transparency will appear magically if you just change the extension in .png

Pretty easy.
In the image window, select Layer → Transparency → Add alpha Channel.
In the tool window, select the "fuzzy selection" tool (looks like a magic wand), switch on the "feather edges" option, move the "radius" bar to 2 or 3 pixels, then click on the white area.
In the image window, select the menu Edit → Clear.
Done. Save the result as a .png.
