    Solved Help on Attachments

Post by mrbeartoy August 20th 2010, 11:16 am

    Good day all,

I'm new to the forums and need of technical help over the topic "attachments".

After a successful paypal transfer, I received 500 credits. From that 500, I added to my new site 200, making me able to hold 220 mb of storage.

I already used the search feature but all I ended up with was the basics D: so here is my question. I have a .zip file of over 92 Mb that I am trying to add to a post for my guild site. To be clear this "file" hosts an .exe game demo that is not found anywhere anymore & I wanted to share it to my members.

I have used small KB files for a long time now, but when I go to Generals > attachments, the maximum space I can increase for the attachments is 32 Mb.

Could anyone of you be so kind & direct me to how I can turn the attachment size from 32 to be able to hold over 92 megabytes?

Also while we are on the same note: IF the attachment size max is ONLY 32Mb, then is the storage space more for the gallery?

Thank you all for your time.

Are there any sites that you recommend for file-upload sharing?

& so to be clear again, the rest of the storage we members buy is for gallery, correct?

I hope in the future, there will be a file-upload increase in capacity. Till then google & the updates link didn't help.

I went and hosted my own file-hosting server. You can lock this thread if you want to.
