    Solved Bandwidth Limit Exceeded.

Post by Chiaki September 18th 2010, 12:37 am

I was checking my forum and there’s this weird thing saying: ’Upgrade to pro, bandwidth limit exceeded’. Yes, I do know that I have to upload those photobucket images to a very empty account, so I did. But then I checked my forum again, and the same thing happaned. Then I refreshed the page and it was gone. Sometimes the forum looks normal and sometimes it says the bandwidth limit is exceeded. Any idea how to fix this? Any help would be very much appreciated. (:

    Hi,

Try clearing the cache & cookies of your browser as it may for some reason be reading the old cookies, which is very odd seeing as you have re-hosted the same pics.

try making your bandwidth limit reserve to 0% because all windows have 20% reserve point Very Happy this is the process

    cl!ck Start
    Run & type gpedit.msc

This opens the group policy editor.
    Then go to:
    1:- Local Computer Policy
    2:- Computer Configuration
    3:- Administrative Templates
4:- Network then QOS Packet Scheduler
    5:- Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Double cl!ck on Limit Reservable bandwidth.
It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."

So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth,

    then set it to 0%
