Is it normal for recent Pm's to appear in profile messages? I hadn't noticed it before.

That shouldn't happen. My guess is that they are thinking they are making a PM but only its a visitor message.

Well, these are messages that I have sent through the PM system to these people, including the welcome message. I just choose to hide them.

Your problem is the image that says PM. You need to go the contact tab to send a PM. You should change it in pic management.

I'm not sure I understand. These are PM's that I sent, not VM's. The button just shows the same for some reason. My Welcome PM is at the bottom!

User must be using the VM then the contact tab.

I'm really sorry, but I still don't understand. One of the messages showing is the welcome PM that my forum automatically sends to new users. It was not sent as a VM.

Welcome message? How did this get into this problem?

I was saying your users must be using the visitor message form in the profile to send a message to a user instead of using the contact tab and clicking PM to send a message to the user.
