Mobile phone version of forum Empty Mobile phone version of forum

What's the best site that can help me create a mobile version of the forum? Something like Mobify. I tried using Mobify but I don't quite get it - can you post using that version of the forum and do I have to choose what stays in the mobile version for every topic or there's a more simple way? Is there some other site that's easy to use and allows people to post using that version?

We don't support this so you won't be able to unless you do some kind of off site coding for an html page.

I know, that's why I'm asking for another way to do it. Some sites offer making the mobile version of your site/blog/forum so I was wondering if someone could tell me what's the best site to use for that.

    Hi,

The mobile version of a forumotion forum is simply a link to a HTML Page, and a list of popular pages Wink

Other than that, there is no way at the moment Wink

Kirill from Mobify here. We'd be glad to help in whichever way we can. Our technology basically acts as a proxy between the mobile phone and your forum. We transcode all your content on the fly to optimize it for different mobile phones out there. With a little tinkering you should be able to transition at least some of the basic forum functionality within a couple of days if not hours. (:

Hi I recently recieved a pm on my just made forum http://findingfacts4all.forumotion.com/ stating that it was not accessible from the samsung moment cell phone. I then tried it from my lg optimus and got the website not found page. Is it that our forums are not accessible through any cell?? If so, Will a fix be coming soon for this??

Thanks for your response. Wonderful to hear. Will we be notified when these tinkerings are made?? If so by what method will we be notified?

My forum looks pretty good on iphones etc - a couple of things I wanted to adjust , so I joined mobify for free...but what it said my website looked like was'nt the case at all - so I left it as it was!

To the OP I think you need to do the tinkering yourself!

I tried accessing my forum on my mobile phone but it's not possible to log in and therefore I can't view or write posts at all. Is there a way to fix this?

We don't do support on mobiles, why not ask help from the support site of the mobile instead?
