    Post by Geeksquad Mon 29 Oct 2007 - 8:46

I forgot how to do it. Someone tell me. A friend in need, needs to know.
Thus, the topic is gone on the tips & tricks forum... Neutral

For people who want their forum index on their portal, like on the French support : http://forum.forumactif.com

    You
can now use the Forum Index Generator that our friend SanDream
(moderator on the French support) has just finished. I am the first to
    have tested this generator.

    Here's the address : https://illiweb.com/ForumActif/afficherPage.php

The Web page is in French, so I put here the instructions.

1- In the "Adresse du forum" field, you type your forum address.

    NOTICE :
    - It must be typed without the http://...
    - / \ : * ? < > |, spaces and accents must be avoided
    - You mustn't forget the domain name (.forumactif.com, .forumotion.com, fr-bb.net, etc.)

For example, I type my test forum address : katt-test.forumotion.com

    2- You click on "Valider"

    3-
Then, it will give you a script. you must then copy it ENTIRELY and
then, you go in Admin Panel > yellow arrow at the bottom > Portal
    > Portal structure > Create a custom block > you paste the
script after you clicked on the A/A icon. We recommend you to add this block in the 2nd column

    NOTICE
: The display will depend of the index compression you chose in your
Admin Panel > yellow arrow at the bottom > Configuration+
