    Solved How to disable Guest from sending PM?

    I just got:
    From Guest To Administrator, Today at 1:58

    From my forum. How did the guest sent me a private message?
    I have tried it myself in another browser, but only registered user are supposed to send private message to Administrators or members of the forum.

    How come this Guest was able to send me a private message?

    Was he a member, but then got deleted?

    I'm not sure, but that's the only idea I can come up with.

    Nope. He's not a member. I was online when the guest was online. And there's no new registration, nor deleted account at that time.

    And he was able to send me a PM with an advertisement about, probably his/her website. He even included his/her email address in the message.

    They use the Contact at the bottom of your forum.

    A-CP => General => Messages and Emails => Emails and contact form >> Contact form Activate: No and save.

    Thank you.

    I've also set in A-CP => General => Messages and Emails => Private Messages => Minimum post before sending PM = 1.

    Guest can't post a message and so can't PM if hasn't post anything.
