    How do I access the options for this icon? Is it customizable? Removeable? Help is appreciated, thanks.

    ACP > General > Forum > Configuration > Forum favicon

    If you want to remove it, use this :https://2img.net/i/fa/empty.gif
    Or remove the URL

    You can customize the favicon by placing a small 16 x 16 image url into the Forum Favicon section like Harper mentioned.

    if you want to have a favicon you need to generate it on==> http://www.favicon.co.uk/index.php
