'Google' adverts which appear on my forum are often inappropriate, misleading and counter productive. How can I remove them?

A-CP = Administration Panel can be found at the bottom of the Homepage.

Or if you want all the ads completely gone, you can remove them via credits. Wink

'Activate Ads. is not offered! So how do I use 'credits' to zap ALL ads?

My forum is still plagued with unwanted Google ads. which are inappropriate. misleading, offensive and blatant SCAMS! I can't remove them via. credits as only the 'founder' can do that but although he set up the forum at my request he has since died! So how do I get control of the forum?

You can't unless the founder removes them via credits.

In addition to Joph25, if the founder has been missing for some time then your forum is eligible for a founder change. If you are interested, then please read this topic: https://help.forumotion.com/t81878-recovery-or-change-founder-of-an-account

However, there are certain regulations and requirements in which your forum must satisfy in order for the process to continue. Very Happy

I would just like to say that Google Ads have nothing to do with your forum. Google bases their content on the user's browser's history, etc; to develop a pattern, and grabs ads based on what Google thinks they're most likely to click on.

So, if they're "offensive", it's because you've (or your members) have been viewing offensive material. They're not for the forum.
