    what I'd like to do is I have a section of My forum that I want hid till ppl hit a certain posting requirement is there a way to do this and if so how plz and ty in advance

    Yes. You may create a group and make the members auto subscribe when they reach a certain post. Then you will need to fix the premissions of the forum.

    yep
    you will have to create a group and then check the auto subscribe to yes and then put the # of posts and then setup the permissions of the forum.

    auto-subscribe will add all the members on your forum and maybe banned users too but banned users wont be able to access the forum
