I just need to email a specific group of people (members) how do I create this group so the
list appears in the list where i send the newsletters from

Apparently, you cant do that with the forum, however, you can have it send to your email and use a filter to forward it to the rest of the admins

Just create a usergroup. That usergroup will appear in the newsletter list.

Administration Panel>>Users and Groups>>Groups>>Group Administration
