There should be a link that says Start Watching Forum in the bottom right corner. When you press it, you will be notified of new posts.

If your talking RSS the feature's already there and exists.
You just need to right click on the main page and do a view html source to get the specific url of the forum you want to follow. You'll find the rss link written like ../feed/f=2 etc.
For example the script/coding problems on this site is /feed/?f=43
or in longhand:
https://help.forumotion.com/feed/?f=43
which you can put straight into live bookmarks or a rss reader
