Permission problem

When creating new user groups i find it a pain to set permission i have to set permissions per each page and i have alot of pages is there a quicker way i try the advanced thing but it just states special messages permission not just basic viewing and posting. am i missing something or do i have to click every page to set the permissions?

Yes, its a pain but nothing you can do to avoid it.
For detailed permissions, of a group you need to go through all the pages.
