PHPBB3 problem please help

my problem is why does my member unable to post javascript or HTML code when posting? yet i already activated the permission to allow my member post an html code?

html or javacript are only appearing to preview but when you send it to post, it appears to be a text only and not for an html code.

now if i will be the one to edit my users post why is that it was being activated and be able to view exact code for it. but when my member post it dint activate and views only just a text and not an html code.

How will i activate users to post an html code with out my permission as i said i already allow html posting to my AP. but then my member unable to post an html code and everytime they post i must have to edit it for the post to work.

Javascript is not allowed in posts for security reasons.

but why is it that when i will be the one to post with a javascript content it works.??

by the way how can i enable the javascript function at AP> module java script? do i have to purchase first for a credit before using that features?

i will be using it to put a chat nav bar at the bottom of my page.

Modules > javascript management.

That desn't need activating... its all ready to use.

i cant see the result although i tried it many many times it wont work..

Why not post your script here so we can have a look if there is anything wrong with it.

You could also try it in the firefox scratchpad. If there is a problem with it, it will tell you.

that is the code.. i am just trying to create a nav bar for chatting bellow my page that will allow my users to chat in all pages they go..

You can't put that in a javaascript management file.

Its not javascript. Its HTML, referncing a script.

Stick it in a module or announcement or somehting.

how about the script of the meebo? by the way how would i allow the html management features appears on every pages of my forum? and not on a portal only?

What do you mean?
To put HTML on every page it must be on something that shows up on every page. For example, widgets are on every page, announcements can be one every page.

But putting it in the homepage message would be daft as that only shows on the homepage, get it?

i will just try to put it into the widget.. ill try to see what is the result
