    Solved USING CUSTOM DOMAIN

    I recently registered my own custom domain with GoDaddy

    and i am creating a forum here and I wanted to know how to change my forummotion url to the godaddy url I created

    I am a bit new so sorry if I post in the wrong section

    By doing this does this remove the myforum.forummotion.com
    and change it to my domain i already own

    or does it simply just forward the forummotion domain to the domain i own?

    It simply forwards. You can use your old forumotion address too.

    But how do i simply make it show the custom domain. I don't want the members to be able to see the forum motion url

    It won't show the forumotion URL. Those who have the older URL of forumotion, when entered int he address bar will redirect to your custom domain.
