    Solved PG 13 content

Post by cerelean October 9th 2011, 8:09 pm

Hi, I'm new to forumotion so I had a quick question. I want to have a site for a teen show. What is forumotion's defintion of PG 13? On the show, they do have women in bras and panties, but it never of course goes beyond that since it is for teens. There are make-out sessions, etcetera. Now even in the movies, this would be labeled no more than PG 13. Is this okay? Before I start working on my site, I just wanted to be clear about this specific guideline. Embarassed

    Thanks

Well i tell people to keep all content on a PG-13 level.
    Women in bras and panties????

You know what, i would ad any proof to the post/threads that it is indeed labeled as being PG-13.

Because when it comes to to public hosting it is very Tuff to have anything just a tad bit related in a sexual way, The bottom line is, even if it's labeled as PG-13 and someone is offended by it, then they will complain and cause all the stink the can to see it gone and or your forum shut down.

So you have to use your best judgment, and whatever the content, if you have something you can ad in the post that dose indeed state it's a PG-13 Rating, then i would be sure to add that in the post. Other then that you may just want to stay away allowing it.

I mean hey, i got complaints here for having a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model as my avatar, go figure, PG 13 content Mouais

Thanks for responding. According to TVGuide this show is rated TV 14. I read that this is the same as PG 13. The only difference is PG 13 is for movies and TV 14 is for television shows. I will put this reference and proof at the top of the forum. I hope this was correct info. Confused

I also want to add this is a teen vampire show. So the whole blood factor and all might add to the rating some.

Yeah you will have to use your best judgment.
Once again be sure to have any proof if possible posted in the thread/post that sites it's PG-13.

Oh and be sure you are not breaking any copyrights for what ever shows you are showing, because content is one thing, but if you are sharing or playing unauthorized materials that are under copyrights, that can be violation within it's self. But if it;s like youtube or something on a host such as that, as long as it's not offensive or porn, you should be fine.

    Other then that.

Since the questions have been answered i will now mark as solved and lock the thread.
