Re: Edit option
Well you got that right Sig . I,m not being rude or funny but I think I have explained it pretty good . It shows on the screen shot that there is NO edit button next to the " Quote " button

Re: Edit option
This a strange problem, heh.
The edit button works fine for me even when I reload the page. I will ask Sanket to check it as well.

Re: Edit option
Even after refreshing the page for 5 times, the edit option was still present. I don't see any problem with it.

Same here. It looks like the problem is on your side. Are any other members experiencing any problems?

Yes I have had a few complaints since starting this Chat Forum . I know as Admin I see all the edit options for all members and if I want to I can edit their posts but why are members complaining that they cant edit thier posts

I see. Well, this may be quite silly, but have you actually allowed members to edit their posts in the permissions section?

Re: Edit option
He means that while logged in as Geezer his posts has the edit button, but other members' posts and even the administators' posts do not have the edit button.

Geezer is not the admin account as far as i see on his forum. Thats the reason he cannot see the edit thing for other's posts.

You think.. hahaha
Not unless he makes Geezer account as a moderator.
Geezer only mods and admin will see the edit button for all post.
If you are a regular member you do not have the ability to see nor edit any other members post.
Member's can only see the edit button and be able to edit their own post,
unless you do not have the permissions set to allow them. to (which you do)
Make sense now,
I mean you cant have regular members have the ability to edit other members post.
That would be a disaster..

Re: Edit option
To edit what?
Their post or other members?
Once again they will not be able to edit
Other members post unless they are mods.
If they can not edit their own post,
Then you have to set permissions for the forums
To allow them.

Well, as a regular member on your forum I was able to edit my posts without any problems at all even after refreshing the page. Like I have said before, have you got the permissions set correctly?

Re: Edit option
I see. Well, I've just visited your forum again and I've taken a look at the 'Testing Testing' topic. It looks like your members are saying that they can see the edit button just fine.
The 'some members' tells me that you should check the permissions for ALL forums just in case you have some that allows members to edit their posts and some that don't.

Re: Edit option
Hello,
Sounds like the permissions to edit your own post isn't activated for each section. By having few users saying they can and can't makes it seem like that. Please go through your permissions for each section.
