Question!
I've had the Chatbox created under this tutorial for some time now and everything was fine. Earlier today, however, a Co-Administrator on my site read my directions wrong and installed the Portal. Now, the Chatbox is nowhere to be found. I don't need the Portal, so I have no problem not having one, haha.

Are the codes for the Chatbox still there?

No. I was just asking if they were still there. So when the other administrator add the potral, the chatbox disappeared?

Yeah, what I was told was that she went to

AP >> Modules >> Portal management

And then was a button that asked to verify if you wanted to install the Portal. They hit yes, and the Chatbox just poofed. We had been using the Chatbox beforehand to give her instructions, and nothing else has been done after.

Edit: I just un-installed the Portal completely and the Chatbox is still not appearing. Should I delete everything and re-do it?

Did you place a code for the chatbox in a widget?

Yes, I did; that's what the tutorial asks for.

Check and see if the widget is still activated?

P.S. If you want to not use a widget, you can place the code in the annoucement bar.

Everything is still actively placed. I would place it in the Announcement bar but I'm actually using it </3

You can add the code that is in the widget in the announcement bar. You will not see it. I believe there is not a limit on codes in the announcement bar.

Edit #2: I see why I wanted to keep it in the widgets. I can keep the visibility levels on it. Guests couldn't see it, whereas members and above could </3 Still not resolved D:

It's already on the Forum widgets and the widgets are on.

The Portal has been deleted because I won't be using it anytime soon.

Umm. It somehow needs to be removed for guests.

You can try and add it as an Iframe -> add the code to a HTML page and iframe it in. Might not work but it's the best thing that I can think of for Invision.
