Hi, I'm using Invision software, and I recently merged my forum legend with my active users box. The information merged alright, but the box remains behind. I'm unsure how to remove it as it appears to be apart of my borderwrap -according to firebug anyway. Any suggestions?

Do you mean how to hide the moderation tools ?

It's the place for the moderation buttons which on the screenshot you will find on the message box. So basically it just moved them down and the box remained behind. You need to enclose the buttons so that they don't move like that
