Admin Group

Hello,

2 Weeks Ago I Posted the same topic....no one knew the answer so they locked it...
every hour when i look at my admin group...it has half of my members in it

And as you can see the group is Closed...so please don't ask if it is closed

Please Help... i need to know!!!!

i thought i replied to the other thread, not sure why it would be locked now.

Anyway, do you have other admins adding them to the group.
Or group set to add members after a certain amount of post counts.

because it makes no senses to me, if the group is closed then no one can get in?

All the admins were offline....and idk why this happens...the security settings look good....so idk why.

did you check your security logs,
For my test board the open group options dose not even work for admin groups.

So the only thing i can think suggest is to set up a temp admin account and PM me the usr name and pass and i will have to go in and take a look.

But there is no other way for someone to get in the admin group unless you or another admin is adding them.

Or is someone has access to your account and is adding them. but even then it should all show in the security logs.

Just be sure if it happens again you check the logs and see who is adding them.

I'm pretty sure someone else is adding them. No one can get into an admin group without an admin account.

i told him to check the security logs.
i went on his forum yesterday, all seem to be set up right and was fine.

Change your pass, may be someone is logging in as you some how.
I dont know but it should be in the security logs for when and who is adding who to groups.

Or take out every admin for a week and see if it happens in that time period.

I mean if all of those members are being put in to admin group as admin,
It's only a matter of time before one of them go in and start messing with things.

Nevermind...It's SOLVED.....I Forgot to change their profile status from Admin to user....silly mistake....
