Automatic update of forum information - help please [Solved] Empty Automatic update of forum information - help please [Solved]

Hope someone can help. Ive just created my forum for my website and all seems well enough but it doesnt seem to want to update any information? Ive changed the time and that seems to have stayed the same and also i got an email to say someone had registered but this doesnt seem to have updated either? Is there something i have forgotten to do (likely option !) or is there a significant time delay?
Any help much appreciated.

Hello and welcome Wink

You must also change the timezone in your profile > "Preferences" tab.

As long as newly registered users have not activated their account by clicking in the activation key in the e-mail they receive, they will appear only in Admin Panel > User Admin > Inactive users.

Non-activated users don't appear in the memberlist because we had much abuse by spammers who put online pharmacy or porn links in their profiles.

Thanks very much for the prompt reply. I will chase up the person concerned and see if they have in fact clicked the link in their email. Just another quick question if i may. I didnt see any facility to stop posts that contain swearing. Is this a feature that is available Question .

there is no word censor feature yet.

But you can propose it in the suggestion section.

Meanwhile, you can use smileys to censor swearwords by using these words as smiley codes.
