Description of problem

Hey! I'm looking for a new home for my forum based RPG. Your rules say sexual and violent content are forbidden but what if these themes come up in RPG? We have a very strict rules concerning mature and violent contents and we, admins, follow each user, their characters and their games closely. We will immediately take action if things get tasteless and beyond the rules.

Here's our disclaimer: "We run a RPG-forum based on near future situation in Los Angeles which has turned into a realistic dystopia. Because of the story and the characters in it, we sometimes have mature content on the forum, e.g. criminality. We'd like to emphasize that this is purely FICTION.

We DO NOT favor or advertise drug use, violence, criminal behavior or pornography.
We DO NOT glorify violence, pornography, criminal behavior or drug use.

These themes may come up in the roleplay threads or characters but we Admins follow each user, their characters and their games closely. We will immediately take action if things get tasteless and beyond the rules.

We are all adults here, we recognize the difference between fiction and reality. In this fiction some characters can be awfully cruel and unbalanced, but if the same kind of behavior is noticed at the off-game section, Admin team will warn the user and even ban them for harassment.

Discrimination and racism against any kind of people is strictly forbidden!
Glorifying drug use, sexual assault and violence in general is strictly forbidden!

The Service Provider and the ads seen on our page have nothing to do with the forum content."

So my question is: If we use your forum, can we write mature and violent content without the fear of being banned? We use NSFW and K18 tags and hide these contents under spoilers.

I currently own "gamingdaily.forumotion.com". It has a CNAME directing to it, "http://forum.sherwoodgaming.com/" and I no longer have access to the domain "sherwoodgaming.com"

Hello,

I tried to create a forum, but when I filled everything in creation site, no matter which e-mail I'll pick, even if It was created a second ago, It's giving me "Sorry, it looks like [e-mail] belongs to an existing account". I tried to do it as well on the other computers but nothing seems to help.

I have been trying to access My sites admin account for a very long time. The admin account and a separate account given admin permissions both have lost passwords. There is a security feature preventing me from retrieving the password for the account that was given administrator permissions. The actual admin account Is linked to an old email that I don't have access to. If the secondary account with administrative permissions can be allowed to retrieve it's password and access the administration panel, I can try to export the code or themes so that I can transfer it to my new site and continue on the progress I have made upon the forum unimpeded. I would like help with that resolution.

Description of problem

My forum recently switched ownership of the domain "otthunderdome.com" from its original forum (otrecliner.forumotion.com) to its current domain (which is now accessible through otxtest.forumotion.com) last year.

I purchased 1600 credits to renew the domain, but I am unable to do so through my admin panel - there is no option to renew the domain, because Forumotion still has the domain registered to my old forum, apparently?

Description of problem

One of my members brought up that this thread that was originally 60 pages long was now 37 pages long. I further asked that same member if there was another thread that was missing posts, and he was. The thread that he posted was origonally at 19-18 pages and now he's at 12. You can see this thread here.

This isn't just happening on my forum. I noticed on other forums that some of their bigger threads was missing pages too, like for example this thread (If you need a test account I can provide one), and a lot of threads in this particular forum (which is btw phpbb2), and all of the guess who threads here

So is there a way we can get our missing pages back? It's not just happening on my forum, but affecting others as well.

Cannot access the site without pop ups either saying I have a virus (computer) or some link saying I have won an iPhone (on iPhone). Needless to say I am sceptical of both and so don't click OK. Description of problem

I haven't logged into my forum in several months (possibly a couple years). Just tried to sign in and it says all the accounts are invalid (unrecognized). And at the bottom of that home page it says the forum is locked. Why would it be locked??? And how do I unlock it?

ADDITIONAL INFO: It used to have a .com address which I let lapse, so the links on the home page of course don't work.
(so you have to click the little arrow on the left of each forum name to get into them, since I haven't been able to get in to fix that).
Does this suggest an answer to my question somehow?
{Although...I had a forum called Ferbles which I also let the dot com name lapse, and it never told me it was locked and i don't exist. *shrug*

Could someone actually have complained about my forum and had it shut down? Is that it?
(I don't see why anyone would have, it was never up and running.)

On a forum (specified as link) That I commonly use, They have 3 different chat colours - One for Members, one for Forum mods and one for admins.

I.e this is the background of the message // not the text.

Hello,

When I did a graphic request, I hosted the image on Servimg, but the quality is more bad than the creation on my Photoshop.
I tried to host the image on an other free image hosting (Zupimages), and the quality is better.

You can see pixel on the image, Servimg but not on the image, Zupimages.

It's normal? o_O

While that doesn't occur with the reputation votes, the thank you button is always affected. All forums are affected, all versions. I can also thank myself in this thread.

I need help changing that on my site.

Hello all,

First time here, first time ever even using a Forumotion forum. Hell, I didn't even know you guys existed until about an hour ago. I received an email in my inbox today, written in Spanish, saying that I had a PM on a forum that I have never visited. Apparently, someone named "Miles" has hijacked my email address to create an account on Spanish forum (through Foroactivo).

I obviously do not want this account, since I do not speak Spanish with any degree of fluency, and did not create this account in the first place. But, because I don't speak Spanish, I can't get through to Foroactivo's support system.

Options? Ideally, I want this account deleted from the Spanish-speaking forum. What should I do?

I've forgotten my password for a forum i created, and PM'ed an administrator about it that handles that type of stuff.
For some reason they haven't replied in a week now, but i then want to create a new forum.

But what happened to the (name).sampforum.net extension?
I see (name).forumotion.com is still there, but when i try to access www.sampforum.net and create a website i get redirected to danishforum.net.
And my friends also gets converted to (his country)forum.net which is just a bizarre design choice.
But sampforum.net isn't in the list of extensions you can choose from anymore, what happened to it?
