Chatbox Bot/Icons

I got no knowledge of this but still I suggest that we add icons in the chatbox.
For an example: Admin have a Hammer as icon, Mods have a dragon icon or whatsoever etc etc
Also I think it would be appreciated if you could add a bot that for an instance, greets the members
when they join the chat.

That's a much better idea so people will know who is who in a forum e.g moderator, etc.

I voted yes - UNDER 1 simple condition : i WANT to decide which icon those people`s gonna get. Because my chatbox aint no MMORPG fan club and thus i dont want hammers and dragons.

And i disagree with bot message.

I voted no. Don't get me wrong, having icons in front of admins or mods would be neat, but I think that would really be over-decorating the chatbox and placing too many graphics into one tiny space, which I really think would/could take away from the professionalism of a forum.

We already have the "@" symbol used to represent moderators of a chatbox, so the images aren't really necessary, either.

I also disagree with the bot, mostly because the purpose you suggest for it seems a little pointless to me.

The "@" is seriously ugly, and unprofessional in itself. If I could, I would remove the "@" entirely, as all moderators on my forum are chatbox moderators anyways. Plus, I have created icons already for moderators, and could easily create a different one for a chatbox moderator. The reason I don't use these icons in the chatbox is because that stupid "@" is blocking everything. I vote yes, just because then I could leave it as no icon if I wanted and just use my own icon system I made. Wink
