how to install script/codes? Empty how to install script/codes?

I'm doing some kind of point system for my forum. Where if they post they get like 2 points and such. How can I install them? Anyhoo?
Also, is there anyway to prevent hotlinking from my site? Is there script/codes needed to be installed? If so, can someone please give me the codes? Confused
