ok i seen a lot of other forumotion sites and i theres a chat box from xat.com so my one question is that how do you upload one

i dont mean that kind of chat box i mean the chat box you can find at xat.com and i know i need the code thingy so yeah

Admin Panel -> General -> Home Page
and in the Home Page Message copy/paste the code from your chat box.

ok i did it but i want it in the portal you know like when you click portal theres the chat box

If you know the HTML code for it you can make a custom block for it and copy that code and then add it on the portal. To create a custom block go to admin panel=>Modules=>Portal & calendar=->Portal structure. Scroll down the page until you find this button"Create a custom block". Add a name for your custom block and in the Block Source code Paste the code for the chatbox. Then save it. Now got to admin panel=>Modules=>Portal & calendar=->Portal structure and look for the "Addition/deletion of personal modules" option. Choose your newly created custom block(from that list) and a location for it(where the block will appear) and then click on "add the module".
