Google ads

I turned on adverts for guests only, now I am plagued with a large google ad whenever I open the chat box.
Yet the turn off the ads button has disappeared from the admin console?
Is this a glitch or is this normal (If it is then I recommend never turning ads on)?
How can I now turn them off again?

If you are not the main admin(The admin hwo made the forum) you can't change the ads modifications

Did you check out the Admin CP > Misc > Point Management >Ads are disabled. If you wish to contribute, you can activate theme by yourself thanks to this option. > (your choice)
