Video Embed from vemeo

I'm wanting to add embeded videos from the sight 'vimeo' to a page our forum. I can do you videos with no problems. I just can't work out how to do it with vidz from vimeo. They generate an embed code which i've tried to use. Any ideas, i know it will be simple, proberly. But sometimes I just need noddy style lessons.

I can upload the embed codes from you tube and they work fine. It's just the vimeo web sites codes i'm having trouble with?

I think html is on. I did have problems with you tube videos at one time, and remember turning something on?

There are not working all HTML codes in posts. Only some of HTML.

That vimeo website creates a funky embed code that doesn't work on forumotion forums even if you have html enabled has been my experience. I just stick with YouTube they are better anyway. I 99% guarantee you any video uploaded to vimeo is on YouTube also. Just do a search for the title on YouTube.
