Is it possible to transfer forum content by code or some other method to another forum?

All posts, topics etc. on a forum are stored on a forum database, you can't since Forumotion doesn't allow access to our database:

The best thing to do would be to leave your old forum open for a while to give members a chance to copy any of thire post and re-post on your new site.

Other then that it's basically what jophy has said above.

I can say all you can pretty much copy is the CSS Stylesheet which you can do by opening the source to your forum and looking for the .css, easier to do with Google Chrome.
