Hello

Ive read all the posts about unlocking your forum such as unclicking the construction or holiday buttons but the lil symbol on the front of the forum still says locked. When I go into forum management and click the modify buttons it says unclocked. Confused. Any ideas what im doing wrong at all?

Many thanks

The construction or holiday options are for allowing(Disallowing) members to post or register. I think you mean unlocking a topic. So go to the topic you want to unlock and scroll down the page until you find the "Quick mod tools" and from that list choose "Unlock this topic".

Thanks for reply. Had a look at that and all it says is lock this topic so must assume already unlocked. Its preventing people from registering that is the problem but ive checked and double checked those buttons (construction/holiday) so am quite stuck.

Go to admin apnel=>Users & Groups=>Users=>User settings and see if you have this option "Allow new members" set to Yes. If not, set it to Yes then click Save.
