How to modify margins with javascript? Empty How to modify margins with javascript?

Hi, does anyone know how I can change margins in particular the left side using pure javascript/jquery? I'm only looking to apply this to my portal, so I don't want a css solution.

The CSS solution would be much better... Just put the CSS in style tags in a widget, and put that widget in the portal but not the rest of the forum.
