profile problem! please help!!!

ok my forum is being over ran with spamm and im short of staf and i need to know if there is a qway to lock down the forum with out deleteing it????
and can i remove the e-mails so that no one can see any contact info my mine e-mail

go to admin>>>users and groups>>>user settings and set it to admn activation only.

You can then go to admin>>>general and set it to forum on holiday.

You can then go into your profile and preferences and hide your email. Clean out all the spam, keep it to admin activation only.
