May I have some help with widgets?

Well I have made a forum I still editing it every chance I get.
One day I was looking at some websites and I came across http://www.themes-fa.com/

And I was looking at it and I looked to the right of the page and I see those widgets. ( It is also to the left)
I said to myself I had to have it. So I'm coming for help for the code and how to apply it on to my website.
