Problem With coulered Usernames Empty Problem With coulered Usernames

Post by mimo October 21st 2006, 7:48 pm

Hi.

Sorry to bother you people but I seem to be having problems colorizing Administrators and Moderators. I have made sure colorized users are allowed in general admin and defined them in the Styles and Colours.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need you admins?

hello,

you must make a user group. for example, make the mods group. put all your moderaters in that group, then in configuration, say colorized usernames enabled.

also, you can make a gruop for other things to. and you must make the groups colors enabled.

edit: lol, i had no idea that katt already posted here.

Hmmm. Thanks. I thought this mjay be the case but in the settings where it says "Enable Coloured Usernames" I thought it implied Administrators and Moderators where automatically coloured.

If you want to keep "administrators" and "moderators", you must create two groups for that. That's what we did here.

Hmmm. OK. But then what is the point in having the option in General Admin of 'Colourizing Mods and Admins'?

when you have that off, even with the groups, the colors wont show up in the posts. but if you have it on, then they will show up in the posts.
