different banner for the portal & forum

Hello, good day to you all

i have a questions regarding portal and forum banner..

1.)is it possible to make the banner in the portal different from the one in the forum?

2.)is rotating banner allowed/possible?

please help me

You can't change the logo of the forum for the portal since the logo is for every page on the forum(including the portal) but you can make a custom block with a HTML code to add your image. Go to admin panel=>Modules=>Portal & Calendar=>Portal pages management and click on the "Structure" button. In the next page click on the "Create a custom block" button And add all the required info. In the "Block source" box you can add this code

Save the custom block you made, and then go to Structure again and in the "Modules" menu from "Addition/deletion of personal modules" choose the block you just made, and click on the "Add the module" button. As for the rotating banner, I don't know exactly what you mean.

rotating banner means the banner constantly changes while you refresh pages or go to other pages of the forum...thanks for the help on my first question
