Email notification - admin default for members

Hi;

I have a forum with a bunch of unsophisticated internet users. We are using the forum as a better way to communicate than chain emails. The trouble is that they never remember to login and check the forums. I also am nut sure they will understand the concept of "watching' a forum.

Is there a way that I, as admin, could set all members as 'watch this forum' as an automatic default? Or even set it member by member?

If they were to get email notice each time the forum updates this would help alot.

I don't believe you can set it up for them, unless you change their passwords & login yourself & do the needful. But, they won't be able to sign in then.
