Solved Register a Guest?

Post by jrt2345 March 9th 2013, 7:07 pm

Hello,

I have received a message from a guest saying he has received a message, when registering, pointing out his email is in use.

He has requested for me to put him on the forum as a member, and has sent me username, email, password.

Is this possible? I have looked in google but nothing matched my search.

Thanks,
John

Hello,

To register someone, you will need to follow the steps of registration as per normal. There is no other way to do this.

Check to see that the user is not in the inactive users list at:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Users & Groups Tab
3. Inactive users

Wow, it worked!

Thanks a lot.

Should I edit my first message to place 'solved' symbol?

You're welcome. In future, to help out the moderators you should edit the first post and mark it as 'Solved' but in this case it's necessary as I'm here to do that for you. Smile
