question about forum main page

i have a question i create a html page.. when the guess or members look my forum the first page that they see is the html page that i create..

can u help me? a cannot enable the
AP>>Display>>Homepage>>generalities>>general>> a HTML page..

i cannot thick "a HTML page" i dont now why? because before "a HTML page" the one thick on that
and when i create a homepage message the "a HTML page" was disable and cannot thick anymore?
any solutions?

Modules>HTML pages management
Click on Corresponding to the html page. Then Do not select it to make a homepage. That should solve the problem of the html page becoming the homepage.
