Avatars not transparent
Hello, I have a problem. The avatars in my forum aren't transparent, I mean their background , or anything .. It's white instead of transparent.
I know its hardly seen but, The img bkg is white...
Any ideeas?
Solved.
Here's a suggestion for you all:
Set the avatar with the png, if the bkg is white, then remember its resolution, then just resize the original image to that resolution and reupload it. This should work..
It was because of the "forumotion's used avatar host" because, if the image is bigger than the maximum then, when it will resize it, it will lose its transparency.

Hi,
I believe that the image has a background to it. What hosting did you use?

Re: Avatars not transparent
As always, I use imgur, because it's the best. (In my opinion).
@Sanket: http://uk-tek.123.st/ <- Here you go!
https://imgur.com/o3IFeXh <- here is the image, i tried to put the avatar trough url, still white back, then i uploaded it, still white background... then I checked, and, the image is, reuploaded?.. here: https://2img.net/u/2117/36/60/86/avatars/7-67.png , if you drag it for example to the tab bar, its seem a white background, as Sir Chivas said, but I put it trough link so, I have no ideas. :|

Re: Avatars not transparent
@Sanket, Somehow..
Look, I'd like to give you all an advice about this problem.
I found it out, so.. It wasn't the host, because imgur is even better than tinypic, here it is:
My max avatar settings were 165xsomething, so the image was bigger than that width, so the .. uh avatar server resized it and it lost its transparency, so here's my advice:
If you try to make any avatar with a transparency, first upload the image as it is, so it could get resized to the best form, then just see its size, then use any editor and resize your transparent image to that size, Hope this helped.
Good luck & have a nice day. ~Chrome
